I’ve just uploaded some extracts from a live improvisation session using Electric Violin and Bass processed through POD XT Live pedals. The POD is very close to our hearts here at The Summer Experiment and we consider it an instrument in itself, using them as core improvisational tools. With regular improv sessions and each totaling over 90 minutes of sound, we’ll be regularly posting extracts from the ‘POD sessions’.

Having booked a number gigs, we have now decided that these will be the only gigs performed by The Summer Experiment. We have some very exciting plans for the 27th of August in Auntie Annie’s so pay careful attention to that gig! If you make it down, prepare to get involved as this will be a highly interactive gig for everybody from performers to audience members! We’re very proud to have a number of local writers on board, each writing original material for The Summer Experiment reflecting the ethos of the project. More details will follow soon….but we’ll be sure to keep quite a few surprises for the Main Experiment. We’re very much looking forward to seeing you all there!
