Born and raised in Shrewsbury, England, Chris showed a passion and talent for music from a young age. His abilities were quickly recognised, and whilst still at secondary school he started having his music performed publicly by local dance and theatre groups.

Graduating in 2007 from the world-renowned Tonmeister degree, Chris gained the highest marks in the year for his professional placements and recording portfolio. An interest in computer game music led Chris to enter and win the National Microsoft In-Game Music Competition 2007, and has resulted in him gaining contacts at Rare and Microsoft Game Studios.

Now as a scholar at the Royal College Of Music studying for a Masters in Composition for Screen, Chris won scholarships from the Stanley Bligh, Ann Driver, and Seary Trusts. He was also a finalist in the International Composition Competition ‘Battle 2009’, and won his individual category. Chris specialises in electronically manipulating real world sound sources to create diverse and evocative sound design and music. His previous clients include Electronic Arts, The Music Dept, Bimbo Jones and West Yorkshire Playhouse.
