John Ferris is freelance guitarist from Belfast. Since finishing his studies in Music Performance at Bangor College in 2006 he has collaborated in a variety of different local bands and projects. John has also given public workshops on The History of Popular Music which involved showcasing genres of music from 1920’s Delta Blues onwards. He later went on to join the Irish rock group, Catoan, giving him a chance to tour the UK and Ireland to promote the debut album And will i released by Curious Incident Records in 2007.

John currently plays with the electronic-based group Noise.Stop.Repeat and enjoys a varied performing experience. In September 2009, John will be revisiting his scientific studies from previous years and continuing a medical degree in the hope to join the ambulance services.
